DIZAJN is an exhibition concept that shows students’ work of the university of applied science in Mainz, Germany. The visitor of the exhibition space can choose among different plates that are lying on the large tables and plug one of them into a hole in the table. The RFIDs on the back of the plate let the computer on the table surface know which student work needs to be projected on the baldachin. By rotating the plate, a new RFID starts sending its signal. Every plate has five different RFIDs = projects, so the visitor can see a considerable number of projects. Verbs/nouns/adjectives categorize the projects to let visitors be surprised by the range of projects and encourage an exploration of the university’s different design areas.
